SCALA St. Moritz
The legendary house, elegant Art Deco style, where once the Scala cinema was to be found, is now reviving.
St. Moritz is where winter tourism began (1864), where electric light first burned in Switzerland (1879), and where the legendary Cresta Run (1884) and the world’s oldest natural ice bobsleigh track (1904) are located. Both tracks were the focus of the only two Olympic Games ever held in Switzerland.
In cooperation with the municipalities of St. Moritz and Celerina, the Saint Moritz Bobsleigh Club, the St. Moritz Tobogganing Club and private collectors and investors, a new and unique public museum will find its home here – the Cresta & Bob Museum St. Moritz.
In addition to the museum, the building will house the new Scala Cinema, the Scala Restaurant, and an exclusive OMEGA boutique.
So, get ready now – and look forward to a new highlight in the heart of St. Moritz.
